The Weekender
Build full-body strength even when you have a busy work week: two weekend sessions and one midweek day.
The Weekender makes use of your Saturday and Sunday to train. Weekend days hit different halves of the body to avoid over-training, and one lighter midweek session caps off the three-day program. It's built for those whose weekday schedules are unforgiving.
Who it is for
You can reliably train on weekends and find one midweek day to work out.
Not the right fit if: It's easier to work around your weekday session or you want to train more than three days of the week. Look at Weekday Warrior or the Founder's Program.

How it is built
Two weekend sessions and one midweek day across eight weeks, in two phases. Saturday is the heavier lower day and Sunday is the upper day, arranged so no prime mover is worked twice across back-to-back sessions. A midweek day, Wednesday by default, keeps the week from going quiet, and a deload lands in week 4.
- Phase 1 · Foundation (Weeks 1 to 4) Learn the weekend rhythm at controlled loads. Your first weekend, run both days lighter than feels necessary. Week 4 is a built-in deload.
- Phase 2 · Build (Weeks 5 to 8) Add load across both weekend sessions as your form and recovery hold.
What a week looks like
Saturday is legs day, focused on hinges, squats, and glutes. Sunday is an upper-body day arranged so nothing Saturday trained gets worked hard again the following day. One midweek day, Wednesday by default, adds a lighter full-body session. Every other day is rest, with a walk encouraged.
A sample session
Saturday opens with the week's calibration lift while you are completely fresh, then works through squat and glute patterns. Sunday pairs pushing and pulling at moderate load. The exact loads and reps are set for you in the app.
You see the shape of the session here. The exact exercises, weights, and reps are set for you inside the app, and they adapt as you train.
It adapts to you
Every Measured program runs on one screen and progresses on evidence. After the last set of an exercise you tap how hard it was, 6 to 10. Hit the top of the rep range with clean form and the load goes up. Fall short and it holds. That is double progression, and it runs on what you actually lifted, not on a calendar.
Common questions
Why not just run the 3-Day Full-Body on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday?
The 3-Day Full-Body is built around full recovery between sessions and gets crowded when you stack two of its days back to back. The Weekender is engineered for the back-to-back: Saturday and Sunday share no prime movers, so the weekend works with your body instead of against it.
Can I move the midweek day?
Yes. Wednesday is the default because it splits the week evenly, but Tuesday and Thursday are selectable. Each of those leaves a longer gap on one side of your week, and the app tells you so when you choose.
Is two hard days in a row safe?
That is the whole design. Saturday is leg day and comes first while you are fresh. Sunday is upper body and trains different patterns, so you are not asking the same muscles to go hard twice.
What if my free days are weekdays?
Then look at Weekday Warrior, the mirror of this program: five weekday sessions with the weekend always off.
