Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026  ·  Applies to the Measured iPhone and Apple Watch app, and to liftmeasured.com

These terms are an agreement between you and Measured LLC ("Measured," "we," "us"), a limited liability company registered in Washington, D.C., United States. By downloading or using the Measured app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Measured is

Measured is a strength-training app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It provides structured programs that adapt to your effort and your equipment. It is a general fitness product, not a medical device or a medical service.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Full access to Measured is a subscription, sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple account:

Both plans begin with a one-month free trial. You are not charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the subscription automatically starts at the price above unless you cancel first. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region and over time; any change to your renewal price is shown to you before it takes effect.

3. Auto-renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

You manage and cancel your subscription in the App Store, not in the Measured app: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose Measured. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. License and the App Store agreement

Measured is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control. Your use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where those terms and ours differ on your use of the app from the App Store, Apple's EULA governs.

5. Health and safety

Measured gives you general strength-training guidance. It is not medical advice, and we are not your doctor. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an injury or a health condition. Train within your ability, use good form, and stop if you feel pain that is more than normal training effort. You are responsible for how you train, and results vary from person to person.

6. Acceptable use

Use Measured for your own training. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or its programs, and do not use it in any unlawful way.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Measured is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties we have not expressly made, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Measured after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
