Weekday Warrior
Build strength on a five-day weekday schedule that never touches your Saturday or Sunday.
Weekday Warrior runs five lift days, Monday through Friday: push, pull, and legs days plus two lighter recovery sessions, with your weekend always completely off. It is made for those with ambitious training goals but who need to protect their weekend schedules.
Who it is for
You have a reliable weekday routine, your weekends go to family, travel, or anything but the gym, and you already have some training base.
Not the right fit if: You are brand new to lifting, you want rest days between workout sessions, or you'd prefer heavy weekend work. Start with Fundamentals, try out the full-body programs, or look at The Weekender.

How it is built
Five sessions Monday through Friday across nine weeks, moving through three phases. Heavier push, pull, and legs days early in the week, then two lighter recovery days, with the weekend always off. The deload weeks at 6 and 9 are load-bearing at this frequency, so don't skip them.
- Phase 1 · Foundation (Weeks 1 to 3) Moderate loads, clean reps, building the base.
- Phase 2 · Build (Weeks 4 to 6) Add load as you reach the top of your rep ranges. Week 6 is a built-in deload.
- Phase 3 · Peak (Weeks 7 to 9) Push closer to your limit, then a deload in week 9 to lock in the block.
What a week looks like
Monday through Friday: three heavier days that cover push, pull, and legs, then two lighter days that give every major pattern a second, easier exposure. Saturday and Sunday are reserved for rest and the other activities in your busy life.
A sample session
A heavier day opens with its main compound lifts while you are freshest, then moves into paired accessory work. The lighter days run shorter and easier. The exact loads and reps are set for you in the app.
You see the shape of the session here. The exact exercises, weights, and reps are set for you inside the app, and they adapt as you train.
It adapts to you
Every Measured program runs on one screen and progresses on evidence. After the last set of an exercise you tap how hard it was, 6 to 10. Hit the top of the rep range with clean form and the load goes up. Fall short and it holds. That is double progression, and it runs on what you actually lifted, not on a calendar.
Common questions
Is it too much to train five days in a row?
No. The Weekday Warrior program avoids over-training by scheduling lighter sessions along with the heavier days. Stay disciplined and stick with the program so you don't overdo it.
Is this program for beginners or more experienced lifters?
It's intended for folks who have some experience lifting. It runs five days a week and is the second-highest frequency in the library. If you are new to lifting, start with Fundamentals and experiment with the weekday program once you've built up some reps.
What if my free days are the weekend, not weekdays?
Then this program is not for you. The Weekender is its mirror: two weekend sessions plus one midweek day.
How does it adjust to me?
After the last set of an exercise you tap how hard it was, 6 to 10, and Measured decides when to add weight or reps and when to hold, so the plan stays calibrated to you.
